Leisure and sports activities at the URV

As well as studying, you can take part in other activities at the URV

We are convinced that the life of a student does not consist only of books, classes and study. And at the URV you will find many fun, enriching activities to enjoy in your free time. At the same time you will discover new hobbies and make new friends.

Some of the university extension options are:

• Cinema Group: organises films, seminars and talks.
• Theatre Group: for lovers of the stage.
• In the Art Group you will meet people interested in the world of artistic creation.
• Debating Club: is the place for you if you are looking for people to argue and discuss ideas with.
• University Choir
• XVI-XXI Orchestra
• URV Solidarity: for those of you who are interested in more altruistic projects.

 
Sports

EsportsURV is the URV's sports service. As well as looking after the university's sports facilities, EsportsURV organizes all sorts of sports course (tennis, yoga, basketball, swimming, sailing and many more) For some of these courses you may be able to obtain ECTS credits.

If you are a member of EsportsURV, you will have the following advantages:

• You will be given discounts on all courses organized by EsportsURV.
• You will be able to hire the URV facilities.
• You will be given discounts on gymnasiums, clubs and sporting entities.
• You will be able to take part in university leagues.
