RESEARCH AND TRANSFER ACTIVITIES 2024 - 2025
RESEARCH
Several lines of research have been developed to analyse key aspects of the tourism of the Costa Daurada, with a transversal and multidisciplinary approach:
Environmental and social sustainability: studying sustainable policies and practices, reducing the ecological footprint and promoting social cohesion through tourism.
Universal accessibility: audits and surveys to evaluate the experience of people with disabilities and their companions, identifying barriers and opportunities for improvement (training, signage, inclusive technology).
Blue economy: analysis of gastronomic experiences and nautical activities as an engine of diversification, deseasonalization and a link between sea and territory.
Cultural Heritage and Identity: Creating signature souvenirs with local artisans through the SouvenirArt Award, to reinforce cultural identity and support the local economy.
