SouvenirArt awards
The SouvenirArt project aims to reimagine traditional destination branding, looking beyond clichés to explore local authenticity and cultural depth. By creating innovative objects, it invites a new perspective on travel: one that is more reflective, emotional, and deeply rooted in the territory's identity.
Each year, the project focuses on a place, reinterpreting its symbols through design and art. It is an invitation to question how we remember the places we visit, ensuring those memories are as unique as the experiences themselves.

SouvenirART 2025 Awards Ceremony: Art as a Tool for Tourism and Culture
The SouvenirART 2025 Award ceremony was successfully hosted by the Salou-Costa Daurada (URV) Chair of Tourism Innovation and Research, with the participation of more than 50 presented works. The event brought together members of the jury, representatives of the Salou City Council, the director of the Chair, Marta Nel·lo, and numerous participating artists. During the event, the award was presented to the winning work, "Salou, a sea of culture", by the designer Muntsa Sucarrats.
The participating works were exhibited to the public throughout the month of May 2025, offering an innovative vision of how art can transform everyday objects into cultural expressions with tourism value. This initiative is supported by the Diputació de Tarragona and the Patronat de Turisme de Salou.
