Diari de Tarragona & BBVA Award

Aim

Diari de Tarragona and BBVA, with the collaboration of Clúster TIC Catalunya Sud, Cambra de Tarragona and Càtedra per al Foment de la Innovació Empresarial URV, announce the second edition of the award for business innovation in sustainability and digital transformation for SMEs in the province of Tarragona, in order to promote sustainable and digital growth of the economic fabric of our territory.

2023

Winner: Terra Alta Consultoria TIC

Terra Alta Consultoria TIC was founded in Batea in 2013. AnaWin360 is an app addressed to wineries and winegrowers that assists in the control of crop expenditures, the planning of jobs and the management of viticulture. It automatically completes the field notebook and provides historical information on the expenses and investments in crops, as well as plant protection treatments, fertilizers and resources dedicated to each campaign. It allows efficient harvest planning and registration of ripening controls through the App. Manage crops directly on the map and through the mobile application.

Prize: Biodrops SL

Biodrops SL is based in Riudoms and is dedicated to the manufacture of personal and cosmetic hygiene monodose (shampoo, body soap, body oil) in biodegradable organic packaging. Its main market is the hotelier. With a production capacity of 15 million mono-doses per year, the targets for 2023 are to reach about 100 small hotels, over 20 large hotels and five distributors

Prize: Bionte Nutrition SL

Bionte Animal Nutrition is a Reus-based startup created as a spin-off of Andrés Pintaluba SA, a Reus company dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of drug additives and pre-mixtures for nutrition and animal health. Bionte Animal Nutrition seeks to establish a place among the manufacturers of mycotoxin trappers in the animal feed sector.

Winner: Celler Herència Altes

El Celler Herència Altes is a family business located in Gandesa and dedicated to winemaking. This company was the winner of the award for its project to protect the flora and fauna of the territory. To achieve this objective, they have carried out many actions in favour of biodiversity. At the same time, they have taken care to maintain the orography of the vineyards. They carry out all these tasks in order to minimise their carbon dioxide footprint.

Prize: Autoescola Jordi

Autoescola Jordi is a company located in Tarragona that has been teaching driving for almost 40 years. In a very competitive sector, Jordi Driving School stands out from the competition for its use of technology. Not only do they offer online courses, but they also make use of in-vehicle technology to be able to parameterise the students and thus be able to teach in a better way.

Prize: Magnore

Magnore e-learning is a tarragonese company dedicated to e-learning. More specifically, they are dedicated to the digital transformation of content, including the design and development of online training platforms. Trivia is an example. This mobile application is dedicated to showing different tourist itineraries to get to know the different Catalan cities. To encourage people to take these routes, Magnore e-learning provides small prizes.
