Due to the nature of the master's degree, the students have a scientific-technical profile. The vast majority hold a degree in mathematics, physics or some branch of engineering. Students take the master's degree motivated by today's strong demand, in both the job market and the world of research, for a mixed profile that combines advanced computing and applied mathematics.
What is the most unique aspect of the master’s degree?

Unlike other programmes, one of the main singularities of this master's degree is the flexibility of the curriculum, since it has only three compulsory subjects. The rest of the subjects are optional and students can freely choose which ones they wish to do. Currently, there are fifteen optional subjects, which allow students to design their own study path, which may be more computational or more mathematical. In this way, students can choose the profile that allows them to improve their knowledge in the specific field in which they are most interested.
