What is corporate sponsorship at URV?

Corporate sponsorship is a form of university-industry collaboration in which a company contributes financially or through goods to research, educational, sports, cultural or social activities promoted by URV. In return, the company benefits from associating its image with the University and the recognition this provides.

What types of sponsorship are available?

You can sponsor university-industry chairs (existing or newly created), support students and talent through grants and scholarships, fund undergraduate and master's theses as well as doctoral dissertations, collaborate in student international mobility, or take part in social and community projects. If none of these options fit your needs, we can jointly design a tailored proposal.

How can I start a sponsorship collaboration with URV?

Simply contact the URV Foundation indicating the type of collaboration or project you are interested in. The FURV team will advise you on available options, define the collaboration framework together with you, and formalise the corresponding agreement.

Is sponsorship different from patronage?

Yes. Sponsorship is a strategic collaboration in which the company receives specific benefits (visibility, brand association, access to talent). Patronage is a non-repayable donation to research or social projects, managed through the URV Foundation. Both options have tax recognition but respond to different objectives and legal frameworks.
