Conversations for the Energy Transition
As part of the activities organised by the Repsol Foundation, the Chair participated in a chapter dedicated to discussing the main technologies for capturing CO₂ and reusing it in an innovative way. The participation took place in an interview format, conducted by Marcos Iriarte, editor-in-chief of El Mundo.

Faculty of Chemistry outreach cycle
As part of the outreach activities organized by the Faculty of Chemistry, the Chair has collaborated with a talk aimed at students from institutes in the Tarragona region and related to the uses of CO₂.

Event "The industrial transformation towards NetZero
This event was held on the occasion of the third anniversary of the Repsol Foundation's Open Room and included the participation of universities that are part of the Network of Chairs on Energy Transition, as well as leaders from the business and academic fields.

European Research Night
The European Research Night is a public event dedicated to the dissemination of science that takes place in 300 cities in 30 European countries at the same time and has been organized in the regions of Tarragona since 2018. It brings research, innovation and its protagonists closer to the public in a straightforward manner. Within this framework, the Chair prepared an interactive talk, which included a series of experiments and integrated knowledge from the 3 lines of work. This was held in different High School Institutes in the regions of Tarragona.

Science Week
As part of Science Week on the URV External Campus, with workshops and activities in the municipalities of Camp de Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre, with the aim of opening this event to new audiences and the territory, an informative talk was held on the capture, uses and regulations of CO₂, including some simple experiments.

Fem recerca!
It is an activity that allows high school students to enter the laboratories and classrooms of the University to participate in scientific workshops, and be the protagonists for a few hours. Within the framework of it, the Chair participated by setting up a workshop focused on understanding the legislation to which countries and companies are subject in relation to CO2 emissions, a fun workshop to try to show the complexity of this regulation and its impact on the decisions that are made in the fight to reduce emissions.
