INU Speaker  Opportunities and Sharing Expertise

Each year, INU opens calls for expressions of interest from faculty who may be interested in participating in our student-centered events and sharing their experience with students from around the world. The theme of these events often changes each year and, therefore, the expertise and academic discipline required to cover these topics will also vary. Activity eligible for funding through the URV's I-Networks program grants.

The INU is opening calls for lecturers from INU member universities for the following:

Researcher Mobility Program

INU is committed to establishing multilateral research collaborations within its network of universities.

To achieve this, the Researcher Mobility Programme offers the opportunity to early-stage researchers (who have completed their PhD within the last 5 years) to participate in research at another INU member university. The aim of this programme is to develop joint research initiatives between two INU member universities, with the prospect of expanding them in the future towards multilateral collaborations with other INU member universities. The stays should last between 2 and 4 weeks and should form the basis for future collaborations between the two research centres.

INU Staff Knowledge Exchange Program

This programme aims to strengthen links between network members by providing opportunities for administrative staff to visit, study, discuss and benchmark the administration and governance systems of institutions across the network. Through staff shadowing, both sending and receiving participants benefit from the exchange of good practices. Through the programme, staff members spend one or two weeks with one or two different INU partners, during which the staff member becomes a "shadow" of a colleague from the receiving universities.

This programme is funded by the sending and receiving institutions as follows:

The sending institution is responsible for paying:

  • Travel and accommodation expenses, with the assistance of I-Networks.

The host institution is responsible for:

  • Organizing and financing accommodation (hotel or homestay) for the visiting staff member, as well as covering the cost of ad hoc meals (i.e. organizing a lunch/dinner for the visiting staff member, for example).

To apply for this support, please contact the INU representative at the URV:

international.strategy@urv.cat
