Mobility procedures
Acceptance
Following the publication of the final resolutions, students will have three working days to formally accept the allocated mobility place and, where applicable, the associated grant.
-
Acceptance of the Mobility Place: Beneficiary students must formally accept the allocated mobility place within the specified deadline through the Student Mobility Portal. The assigned mobility place will be available in the relevant section of the portal, where it can be accepted or declined.
-
Acceptance of the Grant: Only students who have been awarded a grant associated with their mobility place must complete the grant acceptance procedure by submitting the "Bank and Contact Details Form" available through the Student Mobility Portal.
Before the start of the mobility
Upload the following documents through the BEFORE MOBILITY PROCEDURES form (available in the Student Mobility Portal) at least 15 days before the start of your mobility period:
-
Sign the Grant Agreement and submit the original document to the International Center so that it can be signed by the Commissioner for International Networks (MANDATORY PROCEDURE).
-
Students are responsible for obtaining any required student visa and/or study residence permit for the host country, where applicable.
-
Students may authorize another person to carry out administrative procedures on their behalf during the mobility period.
Upon Completion of the Mobility Period
Upload the following documents through the AFTER MOBILITY PROCEDURES form (available in the Student Mobility Portal) within 15 days of completing the mobility period:
-
Submit the Certificate of Attendance to the International Center, indicating the actual start and end dates of the mobility period. The document must include the signatures, dates and stamps of the host institution (MANDATORY PROCEDURE).
-
Submit the URV Activity Report, describing the activities carried out, the type of mobility undertaken, relevant details of the mobility period and the contacts established (MANDATORY PROCEDURE).
Withdrawal
If you decide not to undertake the mobility period, you must complete the Withdrawal Form as soon as possible and always before the scheduled start date of your mobility. This will allow your grant funding to be reallocated to a student on the waiting list. Please note that failure to notify your withdrawal before the scheduled start date may result in a penalty in future mobility calls.
Grants
I-Networks Grant
The purpose of this grant is to contribute up to €1,600 towards the costs of activity registration, travel and accommodation incurred by the beneficiary during the mobility period. Subsistence and living expenses are not eligible for funding.
This grant is subject to IRPF/IRNR. The current fixed IRPF withholding rate applicable to students is 2%. Students with tax residence outside Spain who provide a valid Tax Residence Certificate issued by the relevant national authority before payment is processed will be exempt from tax withholding. Otherwise, IRNR withholding will apply according to the student's country of residence: 19% for residents of EU countries other than Spain and 24% for residents of non-EU countries. In cases where the student has an employment relationship with URV, the applicable withholding rate will be applied. Should the relevant tax regulations change, the withholding rate in force at the time of payment will apply.
