Unirun Race
The Unirun is an athletic event with a 5,000-meter course that aims to encourage new challenges in university athletics. The Unirun involves the 12 Catalan Universities in a popular running competition.
Who can take part?
It is a competition between Universities, which is why runners registering individually must identify with one of the 12 Catalan Universities. Participation is open to everyone: students, alumni, future students, professors, staff, suppliers, family members, or supporters of any of the Universities.
Prizes
- For the top 3 overall finishers in both the men's and women's categories.
- For the first male and female finisher from each University.
- For the winning University.
- For the winning University in the men's and women's categories.
How can I register?
To participate in the race, prior registration is mandatory. It is essential to indicate the University you wish to represent and your T-shirt size.
- Registration for the 11th edition of the Unirun is not yet open. When the registration period opens, you can do it here.
- The registration limit is reached once 5,000 participants have signed up.
- Bib and T-shirt collection, for those traveling with the organized bus, will take place on Sunday upon arrival.
Free bus service
If you have registered for the race, you can request a seat on the buses we provide free of charge. More information will be published when registrations open.
The scheduled departure times are:
- 6:45 a.m. - Reus (Av. Marià Fortuny, in front of McDonald's)
- 7:00 a.m. - Tarragona, Campus Catalunya (Av. Catalunya, 35)
- 7:30 a.m. - Coma-ruga
Credit recognition
Students participating in the Unirun representing URV have the option to receive recognition for 1 ECTS credit if they can prove participation in 4 additional popular races during the 2025-26 academic year.
