Catalan University Championships

The CCU team sports are played in a day format, with matches concentrated in the morning to noon, during the week. In case of academic incompatibilities, participating students can request proof of participation at competicio@urv.cat.

This year, the International University of Catalonia is the coordinator.

To participate, the following steps must be followed:

1. Fill out the pre-registration form. The period is open from September 14 to October 16, 2026.
2. Once the pre-registration period has closed, Sports will contact interested parties and invite them to the selection training.
3. The URV selector will choose the athletes who will represent the URV in the competition, taking into account sporting criteria.
4. The selected athletes will receive confirmation from Sports and instructions for participating.
5. The athletes must participate in the training prior to the competition.

Mandatory insurance

To compete, it is essential to have the additional mandatory accident insurance included in the enrollment.

This year, all students interested in participating, in both team and individual sports, must complete the pre-registration form, within this deadline.

The Catalonia University Championships of individual sports 2026 are mainly held between October and December and may take place either on weekdays or weekends. Esports URV convenes students only for the competition and does not organize prior training sessions.

To participate, the following steps must be followed:

1. Fill out the pre-registration form. The deadline is open until 20 days before the championship takes place.
2. Once the pre-registration period has closed, Esports URV will contact the interested students to confirm their intention to participate.
3. If applicable, Esports URV will select the athletes who will represent URV in the competition based on sporting criteria.
4. The selected athletes will receive confirmation from Esports URV and instructions to participate.
