Championships
The Catalan University Championships (CCU) are competitions in which students from Catalan universities compete in different sports on behalf of their university. Individual and team sports are called.
You don't have to be a high-level or professional athlete: if you practice a sport or have experience competing, you can opt to represent the URV. Do you dare to wear the URV shirt?
A competition compatible with your sport
The CCU are not a long-term league, but specific competitions compatible with studies and regular sports practice.
In individual sports, the competition is usually concentrated in a single day, during the week or weekend and, mainly, during the first semester of the course.
In team sports, a preliminary or group phase and a final phase are played during the months of February and March, during the week, to facilitate compatibility with federated competitions.
How it works?
Depending on the sport, a selection process may be necessary. In individual sports, the level and sporting experience of the people registered can be assessed. In team sports, selection tests are carried out and theselected people will participate in the previous preparatory training sessions to form the team that will represent the University.
NEW: Interest form
This year, all students interested in participating, both in team and individual sports, must fill out the pre-registration form, within this period.
Deadline: from 14 September to 16 October 2026
Team sports: Pre-register
Individual sports: Pre-register
The form is not the final registration. It will allow us to meet the interested students, plan the participations and contact you later to confirm the participation. Fill it out now even if you are not sure if you will be able to participate.
