University Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Energy

Academic information

Simultaneous studies

There is a special programme that enables students to simultaneously study the University Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering and a second Master's Degree so that they can obtain two official degrees via a specific academic plan.

External practices

The external work experience programme is compulsory and consists of 12 ECTS credits.

The aim of the external work experience is for students to be able to apply and supplement the knowledge they have accumulated during the course. Therefore, they can acquire the competencies that will prepare them for a professional career, improve their employment prospects and stimulate their entrepreneurial skills.

Internship lasts for at least 4–6 months (generally, from July or September to January) and students work in companies such as Gomà-Camps, Technip Energies, Inerco, DOW, Repsol, environmental consultants or research centres such as IREC or IMDEA, or the university. Students do their master's degree thesis at the same time, with a joint workload of 600 hours.

You can do your internship in one of the sponsoring companies of the Work Experience Programme.
