General grant from the Catalan Government for students with their family residence in Catalonia for the 2026-27 academic year
As of the 2026-27 academic year, there will be changes to the way that university grants are managed in Catalonia. In accordance with Royal Decree 261/2025 of 1 April, the Catalan Government's competences in the field of universities will expand. This will bring changes in the management and awarding of grants for students with their family residence in Catalonia who register for an official bachelor's or master's degree; these students must now apply via the Tràmits Gencat platform.
The application period for grants for the 2026-27 academic year is from 8:00 on 7 April to 15:00 on 18 May 2026 (CET). To apply for the scholarship, students must follow the steps indicated on the AGAUR website.

General grant from the Spanish Ministry for students with their family residence outside Catalonia for the 2026-27 academic year
Every academic year, the Spanish Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sport publishes the call for general university grants. As of the 2026-27 academic year, these grants are aimed at students with a family residence outside Catalonia who are registered for official bachelor's or master's degree courses.
The application period for these grants for the 2026-27 academic year is from 8:00 on 7 April to 15:00 on 18 May 2026 (CET). To apply for the grant, students must follow the steps indicated on the website of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sport.
