III Reporters' Channel Conference
The Canal de Reporters project is an initiative promoted by the Digital Culture Area of the Department of Education and Professional Training that was launched in 2021 to promote and collect written, radio and audiovisual journalistic productions produced by students from educational centers in Catalonia.
This year, the thematic axis of the day revolves around scientific journalism, a journalistic discipline that facilitates the transmission of information about science and technology in the media in an understandable way.
This type of journalism, which contributes to scientific dissemination in different channels, has become a fundamental tool for bringing scientific knowledge closer to citizens. In this year's edition held on May 9, 2025 at the URV, students from the Arquitecte Jujol dels Pallaresos school interviewed Dra. Estela Rivas on the television set of the URV's Communication Studies, about her research on CO2 issues and her scientific career.
