Recognition of services
Application procedure for the recognition of public service work for the purpose of seniority increments (trienniums)
Services provided in public administrations of the Spanish State or any public administration of a European Union member state may be recognized.
It also applies to services rendered in the public administration of those states where, under international treaties signed by the European Union and ratified by Spain, the free movement of workers is applicable, as defined in the Treaty establishing the European Community.
This procedure should preferably be completed at the beginning of the employment relationship with URV.
One triennium is granted for every 3 years of actual work.
If services have been provided in other public administrations of the Spanish State, they must be certified through a prior services certificate (Annex I) from each organization or university where the work was performed. This certificate model is common across all national public administrations.
For services rendered in public administrations of other EU member states, the certification must be issued by the HR department of the respective institution, in English, and must indicate the job category, the period of service (start and end dates), and whether it was full-time or part-time. If the certificate is in a foreign language other than English, an official sworn translation into Catalan or Spanish must also be submitted.
If you have previously worked at URV or are currently working there and receiving a triennium, Annex I does not need to be provided. In both cases, recognition is processed automatically.
If you belong to two different groups within URV, the application must be submitted through the group in which you perform your main activity, meaning where you work the most hours.
