Induction Plan for the Teaching and Research Staff
The URV is organised into faculties/school and departments, as well as other units.
The faculties or schools are responsible for qualifications and guaranteeing the quality of teaching. They also set up calendars and timetables, and coordinate bachelor's and master's degrees.
Departments are responsible for the teaching and research staff (PDI), giving lectures at faculties and schools, and assessing students.
Therefore, as a member of the teaching and research staff, you will be affiliated to a department by contract and appointed to a faculty or school where you will do your teaching.
The head of the department will be your immediate superior. He/she will assign you your teaching, tell you where you have to teach and give you all the details. When your department has assigned you your teaching, you are advised to contact the person responsible for the degree or master's degree to which you have been assigned to get to know the degree and the faculty/school better.
