Functions and team members
The Infrastructure Service is responsible for the general infrastructure of the URV. Its scope includes the maintenance and management of the current real estate portfolio, the management of utilities (electricity, water, and gas), and the construction of new buildings and space renovations.
The tasks of the Infrastructure Service are divided into three groups of technicians: those handling service/utility contracts, those assigned to buildings/campuses, and those responsible for administrative tasks.
The first group manages and monitors external companies responsible for utilities and services (water, electricity, and gas). The main services include: cleaning, security, facility maintenance, construction and urbanization maintenance, security systems maintenance, gardening, elevator maintenance, pest control, removals, and storage.
The second group consists of technicians who manage the 42 buildings and 10 URV locations. Each assigned Infrastructure Service technician follows up on-site regarding incidents and needs related to the building's operation.
Finally, the third group handles administrative procedures and tasks related to contracts, utilities, and the internal operation of the Infrastructure Service.
