Functions and team members
The Infrastructures Service is responsible for the general infrastructures of the URV. Its area of activity is the conservation and management of the URV's current building stock, the management of electricity, water and gas supplies, the construction of new buildings and the remodelling of spaces.
The tasks of the Infrastructure Service are distributed across 3 groups of officers: those who work in service/subcontracting, those located in the buildings/campuses and those in charge of tasks related to the administration.
The first group manages and monitors the external companies responsible for services and utilities (water, electricity and gas). The main services are: cleaning, surveillance, maintenance of installations, works maintenance, security systems maintenance, gardening, lift maintenance, pest control, removals and storage.
The second group manages the URV's 42 buildings and 10 locations. Each Infrastructure Service officer works on the ground to monitor any incidents and needs related to the functioning of the buildings.
Finally, the third group manages the administrative procedures and tasks related to contracts, supplies and the internal functioning of the Infrastructure Service.
