Biography

I was born in Reus in 1971 and hold a PhD in Business Administration from the Universitat de Barcelona. I began my academic career as an assistant lecturer at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and later joined the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, where I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Management.

My teaching has focused mainly on organisational behaviour and corporate social responsibility, both in the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management and in the Master's Degree in Business Management. Alongside my teaching, I have held several academic management positions, including coordinating the Business Administration and Management degree programme and the Business Organisation Area as a member of the Dean's team of the Faculty of Economics and Business. My teaching was recognised with the URV Social Council Award for Teaching Quality for a project aimed at integrating ethics and social responsibility into the education of future business leaders.

I am the principal investigator of the RESET research group (Social Responsibility, Sustainability and Business Ethics). My research focuses on corporate social responsibility, sustainability and the ethical implications of emerging technologies. In 2018, I was recognised among the one hundred most influential people on social media in the field of corporate social responsibility, according to a ranking published by the University of Bath. I am also a founding member and currently Secretary General of CIVICAi, an association dedicated to promoting the ethical and responsible development of artificial intelligence, and I am a member of UNESCO's Women4EthicalAI platform.
