Pre-Departmental Unit of Architecture

The Pre-Departmental Unit of Architecture is a structure that brings together the teaching and research staff from the fields of knowledge related to Architecture.

The Pre-Departmental Unit of Architecture was established in 2005 with the launch of the Architecture degree programmes at URV. Its regulations were not approved until 2011; however, in 2016 the Unit was suspended and its functions were assumed by the School of Architecture. In December 2025, the Governing Council approved the reinstatement of the PDUA and its corresponding Council as a preliminary step towards the creation of a Department of Architecture.
