Santander Scholarships. Financial Aid for Predoctoral Research Staff 2025
Banco Santander, through the Santander Scholarships program - Financial Aid for Predoctoral Research Staff 2025, offers financial support to promote the training and mobility of predoctoral research staff in training.
Number of Scholarships and Amount of Aid
For the 2025 edition, 18 grants of €2,000 each are available, aimed at predoctoral research staff in training at URV.
Who Can Apply?
Students who, by the application deadline (October 15, 2025), are enrolled in a doctoral program at URV and are residents of Spain.
Type of Aid Covered
Support for international mobility.
Application Period
The deadline to submit the application opens on June, 2nd until October, 15th 2025 (11:59 p.m). Applications must be processed through the link to the online application of Banco Santander.
How to Apply?
Applications must be submitted through the Santander Open Academy platform:

- Admission letter from the host institution
- Candidate's CV including relevant milestones of the predoctoral stage
- Motivation letter detailing the impact of the stay on the candidate's professional and academic development
