Medina Cabello, Francesc 

Dr. Francesc Medina completed his degree in Chemistry at the University of Barcelona (1981). In 1995, he became Professor Lecteur in the Chemical Engineering Department of the Rovira i Virgili University and in 2009 he obtained the position of Professor. Research line developed is focused on the synthesis and characterization of materials and nanomaterials with a controlled porosity and shape and their application. 
Scientific production:
- 31 doctoral theses directed with the highest qualification and directing 5 more now
- More than 200 articles published in international journals in the field of materials and catalysis
- More than 275 papers presented in national and international congresses
- Participation in 113 competitive projects of the Spanish, Catalan and European governments and 175 projects with companies

- Creation and shareholder of the company APLICAT, S.L. (2006)
- ICREA ACADEMIA 2009 and Distinguished Professor URV
