DRAC Program Grants


Give Grants for Promoting Mobility of Students and University Staff (PTGAS and PDI).
For students, participation in courses, seminars, research stays, or other activities within the Vives network or the universities participating in the DRAC program.
For university staff (PTGAS and PDI), stays at services, offices, or laboratories similar to their own, or participation in conferences or meetings related to their job, as well as teaching in Catalan or participating in projects to promote Catalan at universities that participate in the DRAC program.

Grant charcteristics

The grant covers accommodation, registration, and travel expenses for physical mobility, up to a maximum established in the call.

You must submit proof of payment for all expenses related to the activity.

For activities with academic recognition or research, full amounts will be paid. Otherwise, the total grant amount will be subject to IRPF/IRNR.

How to participate?

The application period will remain open throughout the entire academic year.

  • Applications must be submitted within the application period (from February 28th 2026 to September 15th 2026) and always before the activity takes place, regardless of whether the resolution is issued after the activity.
  • For interuniversity master’s programs, the application should be submitted to the university where the student is enrolled (whether or not it is the coordinating university of the master's program).
  • Applications for activities that have already taken place will not be accepted.
  • More than one application per person per call may be accepted.

Applications

Applications must be submitted online via the "Movilidad Programa DRAC 2025/26" form through the Mobility Portal. 

Resolutions

  • First resolution (March 2026)
  • Second resolution (October 2026)

Grant payment

Payment method: 

The beneficiary will receive the DRAC Program grant in a single payment, which will be the sum of the eligible expenses justified by the beneficiary, up to the maximum established.

During university closure periods, payments that could not be processed before the closure will be processed in the next payment batch.

Conditions for receiving the payment

Once the resolution of the application is published, the International Center will contact each participant with instructions on how to complete all the necessary steps for the mobility.

For students only:

Students who have been awarded a grant must complete the "Comunicació dades bancàries i de contacte" form available at the Mobility Portal.

The following documents must be attached to the form:

  • A copy of the valid DNI/NIE throughout the entire mobility period (pdf file)
  • A copy of the first page of the bank account in the student's name or a document showing: the student's name, bank account number, IBAN number, and SWIFT code of the bank branch (pdf file)
  • Certificate of fiscal residence: if the individual is not a tax resident in Spain, they must provide the tax residence certificate from their country. If the document is not available when filling out the form, it can be submitted later via email to economy.icenter@urv.cat.
For all applicants with a positive resolution (Students and Staff):

You must submit the following documents via the “TRÀMITS DESPRÉS DE LA MOBILITAT” form (available at the Mobility Portal):

  1. Certificate of Stay, specifying the actual start and end dates of the mobility period. This document must have signatures, dates, and stamps from the institution of destination.

  2. Proof of expenses:
    • Proof of registration, if necessary.
    • Proof of accomodation, if necessary.
    • Proof of travel, if necessary.

This documentation must be submitted within a maximum of one (1) month from the date of the resolution.

Failure to submit the required documentation within the established deadline will result in the denial of the grant payment, and the grant may be reassigned to another candidate on the waiting list, if necessary. The submission of the above-mentioned documentation is essential to receive the grant.
