INTRAEDUPHD - International Training for Education PhD students
About this BIP
The INTRAEDUPHD - International Training for Education PhD students is a Blended Intensive Program (BIP) hosted by the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). It brings together doctoral students in Education from European universities to exchange ideas, present their doctoral work, and receive structured academic feedback from international faculty.
Objectives
- Promote international collaboration and exchange among doctoral researchers in Education
- Strengthen both quantitative and qualitative methodological skills
- Develop doctoral students' ability to communicate, defend, and refine their research
- Encourage constructive academic feedback and peer learning
- Foster researcher well-being, ethical awareness, and open-science practices
Learning Outcomes
Participants completing the program will be able to:
- Present, discuss, and improve their doctoral research through expert and peer feedback
- Apply and combine qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods approaches effectively
- Identify methodological challenges and align research design with theory and practice
- Enhance academic writing, publication, and dissemination strategies.
- Collaborate internationally and build sustainable research partnerships
Dates and location
The on-site component will take place at Campus Sescelades (Tarragona) from the 20th to the 2th of April, 2026.
This BIP is addressed to current doctoral students in Education and related areas (preferably 2nd or 3rd year). Supervisors and faculty members from partner universities can also attend as discussants and mentors.
Since the communication language will be English, we recommend having at least a B2 English level certificate.

General requirements:
- If you want to participate and you are a student, your university has to nominate you via Erasmus+ mobility procedures. Sending institutions can select their students based on the stated pre-requisites and following their own internal selection procedures before nominating them by the nomination deadline. Further instructions will be sent by email to the selected students after reviewing nominations. URV asks that the students be supported with an Erasmus+ grant or an Erasmus+ zero grant and be registered in the Beneficiary Module. For further details see "Mobility Procedures" below.
