Legal notice regarding personal data protection The publication of contact details and, if necessary, data relating to the function or place occupied by individuals connected to the University refers solely to the data needed to professionally locate individuals for the exclusive purpose of facilitating relations with third parties in the frame of the functions that they execute on behalf of the University.

In accordance with the current Regulations on personal data protection, such publication may occur during the course of a mission carried out by the Universitat Rovira i Virgili in the public interest or in the exercise of public power and in order to comply with the principle of active publicity in accordance with the regulations applicable to issues of transparency.

Contact information may only be used for purposes exclusively related to the functions of the University without it becoming accessible to the public and, consequently, personal data may not be used for other purposes or be reproduced, transmitted or recorded, either totally or partially, using any data retrieval system without the prior consent of the individuals affected.

In particular, personal data cannot be used for commercial purposes or for the sending spam emails. The University will inform the controlling authority competent in the matter of personal data protection of any misuse of personal data.
