Change of banks details


Applications must be submitted using the "Online procedures of the Intranet" or the "URV Electronic Registry".

The service will be provided by e-mail, by telephone and in person. In the latter case, however, you must make an appointment in advance. Check availability on the website of your Campus Secretariat.

  • ITEM: The process by which students can change the bank details that appear on their records.

Application procedure


The interested party or the authorized person on presentation of the necessary identification.


In the Secretary's Office of the Faculty/School where they are carrying out their studies.


When the student's bank details have changed.


By presenting the following documentation:




  • Before informing the university of the change to their bank details, the student must be aware that transactions may have been made using the old bank details. Therefore, the student must keep the old account active for a minimum of 10 days.

  • If the student does not communicate the change in bank details, the existing details in his/her record will be transfer from one academic year to the next.

  • The student may introduce the change when self-registering.

  • This change will not stop any processes that have been undertaken due to non-payment of fees.



Resolution of the application


The Head of the Secretariat.


Whenever possible, when the application is made. At most, five work days after presenting the application and any necessary documentation.
* August is not considered to be a working month.


The new information will be introduced to the system and will replace the previous data. A new direct debit order must be signed.

The changes will be visible on the economic record which means that it is not necessary to send a separate explicit notification to the individual (the economic record can be consulted on the intranet).
If the changes cannot be made, the individual concerned will be notified.
