Investigación


La actividad de investigación de la Cátedra Universidad-Empresa se centra en la actividad innovadora de las empresas dentro del sistema de innovación. Los estudios pueden tener una doble dimensión: una más microeconómica en analizar el comportamiento individual de los agentes y, una más macroconómica, al analizar el comportando agregado.

De una modo más específico, los campos de interés de la Cátedra son:

  1. Analizar los determinantes de la actividad innovadora según las tipologías del Manual de Oslo (2005): innovaciones en producto, en proceso, en marketing y organizativas.
  2. Evaluar el impacto de la innovación en la empresa, así como en los territorios donde se ubican.
  3. Realizar comparativas entre territorios. Realizar la evaluación de políticas públicas sobre el comportamiento empresarial tales como la localización de parques científicos y tecnológicos, subsidios públicos, etc.
  4. Adoptar una escala regional a través del concepto de sistema regional de innovación (los agentes que participan en el proceso innovador en Cataluña).
  5. Adoptar una escala sectorial con el concepto de sistema sectorial de innovación (los agentes que participan en las agrupaciones sectoriales y tecnológicas más significativas: tecnologías TIC y servicios avanzados dirigidos a las empresas, industria de la automoción, sistema financiero, etc.).

Los resultados de estos trabajos se publicarán en revistas internacionales de gran prestigio como Research Policy, Growth and Change, Economics of Innovation and News Technology, Review of Industrial Organization, Small Business Economics y Industry and Innovation.
