I started working on biomedical data science and machine learning back when data was scarce and computing power was a real bottleneck. These days, with the explosion of big data, AI, and personalized medicine, we're seeing an incredible shift-healthcare, drug discovery, and even daily fitness tracking are all driven by algorithms processing massive amounts of information. My work combines bioinformatics, network analysis, and deep learning to make sense of complex biological data, always with a focus on real-world applications. In my classes, I don't just teach theory-I dive into hands-on projects and collaborations with hospitals, research centres, and industry leaders to tackle real biomedical challenges.”
