Master's Degree in Business Management
The general aim of the master's degree is to produce professionals/researchers with advanced knowledge in the ambit business management.
The professional track aims to provide students with the knowledge necessary to work in management roles in any of the operating areas of a company and in general management in different areas of business.
The research track aims to provide students with the knowledge necessary to carry out a research project in the ambit of business economics.
- General management of businesses and organisations in all areas.
- Management of departments and operating sections (accounting, finance, marketing, production/logistics, human resources, etc.) of companies in all areas.
- Consultancy for businesses and organisations.
- University lecturer and researcher.

|Duration||60 ECTS credits|
|Timetable||Monday to Friday from 17.00 to 21.00|
|Mobility||Mobility is voluntary. The Faculty has master's degree mobility agreements with several universities:
|Work placement||External practicals are optional and enable the student to gain 300 hours of experience working in a company or institution. The external practicals option is worth 12 ECTS credits.
Students can carry out the external practicals at any one of 97 organisations connected to Southern Catalonia and operating in all areas of economic activity with whom the Faculty has signed agreements.
|Language of instruction||Spanish (100%) and occasionally English|
|Course dates||Classes are held from October to June. Assessment is completed in July.|
|Master's degree thesis||The master's degree thesis has a sole call in June. Students can ask for a date change according to the assumptions and proceedings described on the master academic rules.|
