Application of the price of master's degrees that do not qualify for regulated professional practice for legal residents in Spain

  • ITEM: Application of the price for students who are nationals of European Union member states to students who are studying a master's degree that does not qualify for regulated professional practice and who, despite not being nationals of EU member states, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland or Andorra, are legally resident in Spain.

Application procedure

Who

The interested party or the authorized person on presentation of the necessary identification.

He/She must have been admitted on the master's degree or already registered.

Where

Via the online administrative procedures on the URV's intranet or the URV online registry.

Please check the general considerations for submitting applications and documentation.

When

As soon as the candidate has been admitted, any time before 20 December 2023.

How

Submitting the following documentation:

  • Documentary proof of legal residence in Spain (student cards are not accepted). Must be valid at the beginning of the course (25 September 2023).

Cost

This procedure is free for the student.

                                             

 

Resolution of the application

Who

The Campus/Faculty/School Secretariat.

When

At most, one month after presenting the application and the necessary documentation. August is not considered to be a working month. 

How

If the resolution is favourable to the student, the Secretariat will enter the residence information into the academic record.

  • If the application is submitted and accepted before the registration process is completed, students will pay the same price per credit as students who are nationals of EU member states.
  • If the application process is submitted and accepted after the registration process is completed, the Campus/Faculty/School Secretariat for Academic Management will update the academic record and the registration and, if necessary, will make the corresponding refund.
    The original resolution will be filed in the student's academic record. The student will be sent an e-mail with a copy of the resolution in which he/she will be informed that they can complete their registration or, if they have already done so, that they will find the receipt of registration receipt with the new price on the "My payments" platform.

If the resolution is not favourable to the student, the Campus/Faculty/School Secretariat will notify the student by electronic means.
