URV-Repsol Chair for Excellence in Communication
Activities
There are three areas of focus for the URV-Repsol Chair:
Teaching: Every academic year the Chair will organize one or two training seminars related to best practices in communication, run by first-rate professionals and experts. These activities will be directed towards URV Degree or Doctorate students.
Research: Each year the Chair will promote and fund two or three research projects about communication issues or problems of intellectual and social relevance to the county of Tarragona and region of Catalonia. Best practices in corporate social responsability and corporate communication management are among the proposals that will be considered.
Diffusion: in this area the following actions will be taken:
The organization of international congresses to gather experts from all around the world to debate socially relevant aspects of communication.
To publish an international academic journal on Communication issues: Catalan Journal of Communication and Cultural Studies.
To publish books, brochures and electronic documents to disseminate the Chair’s teaching and research activities.
