What should I do if I wish to make a mobility stay in the Rovira i Virgili University?

As soon as your university has informed us that you been selected to come to the URV as an exchange student, you will receive an e-mail explaining you the steps to follow:

Step 1 - Application

You have to complete the URV on-line application within the application periods:
  • First semester / Full academic year students: from 1st April to 1st June 2019
  • Second semester students: from 1st April to 1st November 2019

IMPORTANT! Prepare all the documents you have to upload to your on-line registration.

Required documentation:

  • Scanned copy of your valid identity card or passport. Passport will be compulsary for students applying for a visa.
  • A colour passport shape photograph of you.
  • Learning agreement with the subjects you wish to study at the URV, signed by you and signed and stamped by your home university. For students coming under Erasmus Training programme, you should use the model of training agreement. Find attached all the learning/training agreement models on the right.
  • Academic transcript of records.
  • Scanned copy of your european health insurance card (compulsory for EU citzen) and/or a copy of a private accidents insurance (compulsary for the non EU citzen). We suggest you to wait for the definitive acceptance from URV before buying an insurance. In the meanwhile, you can upload in the on-line application, a responsible statement explaining you will get an insurance covering you during your mobility period in Spain. Useful information about the Learning/Training agreement

Choose the subjects that you wish to study at the URV with the help of the academic coordinator at your home university and fill in the suitable model of learning/training agreement. You can also use the model that your university may provide you.

How to formalize your Learning/Training Agreement:

  1. Fill in the suitable Learning Agreement template. Check the subjects available and talk to your training supervisor to get information about your tasks and schedules if you are going to do an Internship. If you have any doubts about your course, get in touch with us at
  2. Sign it and ask the academic coordinator in your home university to sign it and stamp it too.
  3. Attach it to your on-line registration.
  4. At your arrival in Tarragona you will need a definitive version of the document signed by the URV mobility coordinator for the register the subjects/courses in the Secretariat of the Faculty/school you belongs at the URV.

    Step 2 - Admission

    Once you have completed the registration and upload all the requested documents you have to send an e-mail to to inform that you completed the application. Then, we will check it and send it to your URV academic coordinator/training supervisor in order to get your official admission. We will send you the admission letter to you by e-mail and also by post in the case you have to apply for a visa (non EU and Turkish citizens).

    Step 3 - Preparing your arrival

    Before you arrive the International Center team will send you an e-mail to invite you to join one of the welcome meetings. Do not forget to check your e-mail account frequently (the one you used to complete the on-line application). If you can not attend any of the welcome meetings we organized, please send us an e-mail and we will send you an appointment for a personal welcome meeting in the International Center.
