Chair for the Promotion of Business Innovation
The Chair was created by means of an agreement with the Provincial Government of Tarragona, and its main objective is to encourage analysis, reflection and discussion about innovation and the competitiveness of companies in the province of Tarragona. It will provide liaison with various science and technology parks, research groups and other technological centres on the regional, national and European levels.
On the one hand, studies and reports will be written on the regional innovation system that is being put into place in the Terres de l'Ebre and the Camp de Tarragona, with particular emphasis on the reality of the business fabric. On the other, a discussion forum will be set up that will be entrusted with producing an executive summary on the main actions that must be put into effect to improve the systematic changes made to products, production methods, organizational structures and channels of access to markets.
