Carbon capture: analyzing the potential of Negative Emissions Technologies.

Date: 28 of February 2024.

Moderator: Fèlix Llovell.

Thematic:

In 2015, the Paris Agreement set a goal of limiting global temperature increase to 1.5°C by the end of the 21st century. This goal was scientifically supported by the United Nations Special Report on Global Warming in 2018. To achieve this, progress towards the goal of net zero emissions by 2050 is needed, and negative emissions technologies will be essential. This webinar explored these technologies and their potential for CO₂ removal. The webinar attracted great interest, with over 1,000 registrations.
