VIII International Film Festival of Reus. Cinema and environment in the Memorimage 2013.

If last year Memorimage film festival included the screening of the interesting film "Receips for disaster", this year should highlight two films related to the environment.

Wednesday, November 6 at 21 am and at the Bartrina Theatre of Reus, Memorimage 2013 inauguration:

"Buda. L'Illa del Delta" (2013), directed by Santi Valldepérez and Guillermo Barberà.

Formed by sediment leaving the Ebro Delta, Buda Island, is one of the best preserved wetlands in Europe. In the 50s had 200 inhabitants, but currently resides hardly anyone. We see the past and present life on the Isle of Buddha. Its inhabitants will show their daily lives, and memories. Through this poetic story, we will discover their history.


Thursday, November 7 at 21 am, also at the Bartrina Theatre:

"Entre el cel i la terra" (2013), directed by Tono Folguera, David Fernández de Castro and Roman Parado.

Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Natural Park of the Empordà Marshes, we remember the story of his birth. Some anonymous citizens banded together to save dying a natural area, and managed the creation of what would become one of the most charismatic and renowned parks of Catalonia.
