Serratosa Casanelles, Francesc 

Francesc Serratosa received his computer science engineering degree and PhD from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 1993 and 2000, respectively. He is active in research in the areas of Computer Vision, Robotics, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning and Biometrics. He has published 150 papers. He is giving classes on computer vision and biometrics at Universitat Rovira i Virgili and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. He is the coordinator of the Joint Master of Safety and Technology of Information and communications at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (MISTIC). He has been involved in more than 20 research projects and he is the author of 4 patents. He is the principal researcher of the Research group: Sensorial Systems Applied to the Industry (SSAI) and has advised seven PhD thesis.
