Aurora offers different opportunities for students to add an international experience to their academic journey and enables them to participate in the processes of social innovation in their environment and in the construction of a more sustainable society.
The students of the Aurora Alliance are a fundamental and active part of the development of the project and its policies. See how you can participate.

Aurora Mobility grants

Aurora Student Council
The Aurora Student Council (ASC) is made up of two elected representatives from each university, who collectively decide on student priorities within Aurora. The council is led by the president-elect and the vice-president.
The URV student representatives for the 2025-26 academic year have been:

The call for applications to select the person who will represent URV students on the Aurora Student Council for the 2026-2027 academic year is now open. Applications will be accepted until 20 September 2026.

Be an Aurora Ambassador!
Aurora Ambassadors are students who act as a link between the university community and the Aurora Alliance. By taking part in activities, events, and outreach initiatives, they help build a more international, engaged, and connected university community based on shared European values.
What does an Aurora Ambassador do?
As an Aurora Ambassador, you will:
- Represent URV at Aurora activities, events, and meetings.
- Collaborate with other Aurora Ambassadors and with URV representatives on the Aurora Student Council (ASC).
- Take part in workshops, conferences, working groups, and other Aurora initiatives.
- Promote the opportunities offered by the Aurora Alliance among URV students.
- Champion Aurora's core values, including sustainability, inclusion, social innovation, and European citizenship.
Why become an Aurora Ambassador?
Becoming an Aurora Ambassador is an opportunity to:
- Develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Join an international network of students from Aurora member universities.
- Contribute to the internationalisation of URV and the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Gain a rewarding experience that complements your academic studies.
Participation in the programme may be recognised with 1 Academic Recognition Credit (AUR), provided that you complete at least 25 hours of participation and submit a final reflective report.
Open Call
Applications are now open to join the Aurora Ambassadors programme for the upcoming academic year.
This year, the programme is managed directly by URV, and there is no limit on the number of places available. However, participants are expected to demonstrate the same level of commitment that has always characterised the programme: active participation in Aurora activities and continuous engagement throughout the academic year.

- To participate in any of the courses, a prior nomination from the university of origin will be required.
Aurora students do not have to pay tuition for the courses offered.
