The European Documentation Centre (EDC) was founded in 1993 as the result of an agreement between the URV's Department of Economics and Business Management and the European Commission.

It belongs to the information network europe direct and is designed to be used by the general public. It aims to encourage research into the European Union and to spread the Union's policies within the university community. The collection is highly specialised and is available for borrowing.

Specialised staff can be consulted on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8.30 to 15.00 and online at Pregunt@.
