We invite high-quality papers that explicitly address issues related to firm growth and innovation at firm and country level. Papers dealing with the following areas are particularly welcome:

• Linkages between firm growth and innovation
• The role of firm growth and innovation in regional development
• Differences between firm growth and innovation patterns depending on the industrial structure
• Firm size and innovation
• Policy implications for firm growth and innovation
• Theoretical models and methodological contributions

We aim to publish a special journal of the papers delivered at the conference. Conference papers will have the opportunity (but not the obligation) to be published in this special issue after they have been reviewed. Papers submitted for the special journal issue are expected to be work in progress and not submitted for publication elsewhere.
