Presentation

The Masters is designed to be completed in one year full-time and two years part-time. It provides training in the research skills needed for investigations of translation, with an emphasis on non-linguistic aspects. It is not designed to train professional translators. All seminars and assignments are in English. The teaching staff includes some of the main international researchers in the field. The courses have been offered since 2003 as part of the doctoral program in Translation and Intercultural Studies. Spanish legislation now requires that the coursework part of the doctoral program be offered as a Master.
