Presentation

The objective of this master’s degree is to promote a postgraduate level formation through the development of a scientific and theoretical discourse about the relationship between social conflict and political power throughout History.
Taking this master’s degree, students will achieve a broad, specific and updated knowledge of the central topic.
The master’s degree is focused in the study of the close relationship between politics and society trough history, from the Christianization of the Roman Empire to nowadays. Students will study the social unrest of each period and the solutions that the political power promoted to confront it by means of the study of the origin of the social problems, of the power and the power’s reaction, in particular from the origin of these problems and their consequences
