Presentation

The main objectives of this master’s degree are the following:

• Students’ acquisition of necessary skills, knowledge and abilities to be able to assume responsibilities and superior level functions described in the article number 37 of the Regulations of Prevention Services about Labour Risk Prevention.
• The master’s degree has three different specialities (Safety, Hygiene and Ergonomics) that will be taught during the course trying to give a global vision of them and the rest of the topics.

Career opportunities

The degree will enable to practise as a Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, according the Royal Decree 39/1997, which approves the Rules of Prevention Services. This applies for own prevention services of companies and institutions, external risk prevention services, mutual insurance companies and professional diseases, consultancies, local authorities, health authorities, etc.
