The URV-UOC online master’s degree program on Computational & Mathematical Engineering (CME) provides interdisciplinary graduate training in engineering and applied sciences areas. The CME program includes relevant topics such as computer modeling and simulation, numerical methods, parallel & distributed computing, knowledge representation, networks & graphs, applied optimization, etc. The main goal of this program is to prepare students for R&D positions within industry, research centers, and universities. The CME online master’s degree program is oriented to graduate students from different fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Physics, and related fields. The CME student has to complete a total of 60 European credits (ECTS), which are distributed as follows: 12 credits in compulsory courses, 30 credits in optional courses, and 18 credits in the master’s final project. The CME online master’s degree is designed to be completed in 1 year (full-time students) or 2 years (part-time students). Professors in this master are active researchers in their respective areas, which promotes the development of research careers on computational and mathematical engineering among the program students.
