Official Master's

Admission to master: documents



Students holding URV degrees:

Those students must submit the following documents:

- Curriculum Vitae.
- The documents specifically required by the rules of the Master they wish to enrol. In interuniversitary Masters, the rules of the coordinator university will be applied.
- Academic transcript downloaded from the URV's website and degree leading to the Master (only those students who apply for admission to master's degree programmes taught in faculties/schools other than those at which they were awarded their access qualification)
 

Those students with previous training appart from the admission degree, if they want it to be recognised by the Master's coordination in order to get it incorporated into their record, they have to apply specifically for that recognition and to submit documents proving that the competences and knowledge acquired in their previous training correspond to those included in the recognition they apply for.

  • All these documents must be submitted at the Secretariat of the Faculty/School.

Students holding non-URV Spanish degrees:

Those students must submit the following documents:

- DNI, or passport, or document accrediting identity and nationality, original and copy (or authenticated copy).
- Degree leading to the Master, original and copy (or authenticated copy), or a document accrediting that the issuance fee has been paid.
- Curriculum Vitae.
- The documents specifically required by the rules of the Master they wish to enrol. In interuniversitary Masters, the rules of the coordinator university will be applied.
 

Those students with previous training appart from the admission degree, if they want it to be recognised by the Master's coordination in order to get it incorporated into their record, they have to apply specifically for that recognition and to submit documents proving that the competences and knowledge acquired in their previous training correspond to those included in the recognition they apply for.

Students holding foreign degrees validated in Spain (by the MEC, Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia):

Those students must submit the following documents:

- DNI, or passport, or document accrediting identity and nationality, original and copy (or authenticated copy). No translation or legalization required.
- Degree leading to the Master, original and copy (or authenticated copy), or a document accrediting that the issuance fee has been paid.
- Document accrediting the validation of the foreign degree, original and copy (or authenticated copy).
- Curriculum Vitae. Neither translation nor legalization are required.
- The documents specifically required by the rules of the Master they want to enrol. In principle, neither translation nor legalization are required, but the draft authorities could ask for them if necessary. In interuniversitary Masters, the rules of the coordinator university will be applied.

Students holding foreign EHEA (European Higher Education Area) degrees non-validated in Spain:

Those students must submit the following documents, legalized* and translated if necessary:

- DNI, or passport, or document accrediting identity and nationality, original and copy (or authenticated copy). No translation or legalization required.
- Degree leading to the Master, original and copy (or authenticated copy), or a document accrediting that the issuance fee has been paid.
- Certificate, issued by the authorities of the country of origin in accordance with legal regulations in that country, original and copy (or authenticated copy), which accredites that the degree leads to Master studies in that country. The Diploma Supplement contains this information. No legalization required.

* No legalisation required for the documents issued by the authorities of member states of the European Union or signatories to the European Economic Area agreement or countries with bilateral agreements with the European Union.

- Degree leading to the Master, original and copy (or authenticated copy), or a document accrediting that the issuance fee has been paid.
- Academic record including the subjects, the grades, and credits or the timetable load of each of them, original and copy (or authenticated copy). It also must include information about the grade/qualifications system.
- Certificate, issued by the authorities of the country of origin in accordance with legal regulations in that country, original and copy (or authenticated copy), which accredites that the degree leads to postgraduate studies in that country. No legalization required.
