Presentation
From three different scientific perspectives (linguistics, cognitive psychology and analytical philosophy), students are introduced to language research and cognition. The aim of the Master's Degree is to provide students with interdisciplinary training to prepare them to carry out research into a specific area. The programme also makes it possible for them to acquire advanced academic training in all three areas.

The master's degree is divided into three areas:
Logic and Philosophy
This area provides students with advanced training in the subjects that make up the nucleus of contemporary analytical philosophy: the philosophy of language, the philosophy of logic, the philosophy of the mind, epistemology and metaphysics.
Grammatical Theory and Language Processing
This area provides students with advanced training in language structure. The subjects that are taught in this block deal with language research in the various fields of grammatical theory and in natural language processing, as well as their interaction with other disciplines of cognitive science.
Cognitive Models of Language Processing
The aim of the psychology branch is to familiarize students with various fundamental questions relative to language processing from a cognitive perspective. The subjects programmed deal with topics that range from language acquisition to language representation in the brains of speakers. However, as well as transmitting the important theoretical information on these issues, students are also made aware of the experimental research that is being carried out in the field of language psychology.
