Undergraduate programmes at the URV

Undergraduate programmes are the first cycle of university education in Spain.
The Rovira i Virgili University aims to provide students with a quality education, in which they acquire both knowledge and competencies, and which guarantees professional success. To this end, up-to-date programmes have been designed that use new teaching and learning methodologies, and which focus on the student as the centre of academic activity.

Admission to undergraduate programmes for international students

If you have completed secondary education and want to be admitted at an undergraduate programme there are two possible situations:

1. Students who have completed pre-university studies in countries of the European Union (EU), Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein or China

You are not obliged to sit the Spanish university access examination (known as PAU, or "selectividad"). You must only meet the requirements laid down in your country of origin for gaining admission to university.
