Modifying the registration of the doctoral thesis proposal
| Application procedure: | |

| Who: | The student who has registered the doctoral thesis and who wishes to change the name of the supervisor or the title of the thesis before the oral examination. |
| Where: | At the secretary's office of the department where the doctoral thesis was registered. |
| When: | As soon as the original registration details are changed. |
| How: | By presenting the following documents:
• Application form for modifying the registration of a doctoral thesis proposal, with the approval of the supervisor or co-supervisors (if applicable). |
| Observations: | The application should be made to the supervisor’s department, whichever that may be. The doctoral thesis proposal and the agreement of the departments involved should be attached. In these cases, the document will form part of the record to be processed by the Postgraduate and Doctoral School. The coordinator of the doctoral programme will be informed of the modification. |
| Monitoring the application: | |

| Who: | The body responsible for the doctorate. |
| When: | As soon as the aforementioned doctoral body accepts the modification to the registration. |
| How: | By expressly stating on the bottom of the application form that the modification has been accepted and by subsequently submitting the application to the Postgraduate and Doctoral School. |
| Resolution of the application: | |

| Who: | The Postgraduate and Doctoral School |
| When: | Once the application accepted by the department has been received. |
| How: | Recording the modification to the registration of the doctoral thesis on the computer application, and sending one copy to the student and another to the department. |
| Observations: | The Postgraduate and Doctoral School will update the information posted on the website. |
