The URV also proposes you to take part in our hiking trips. These expeditions allow you to get to know better our country, culture, history and landscapes. The trips have the starting and ending points in Tarragona and Reus. In both cases the trip is done by bus and the hiking is guided by an authorized person.

Language Groups
Communication plays an important role in our lives. Through communication we interact, we share and integrate.
The Graduate School is organizing group meetings directed to help foreign students get in touch with the Catalan language and customs. Language groups support our neccesity to meet new people and find a common language to share ideas and opinions.
As well, one of our purposes is to make a stronger International Community here in the URV. This thing helps also the local students get used to different cultures and languages.
Because of all this the Graduate School organizes several weekly Language Groups in catalan, spanish and english. In order to get in one of these groups please contact us at mastersoficials(ELIMINAR)@urv.cat.

Athletic Activities
EsportsURV wants to promote the physical and sportive activities in our University, in areas such as tennis, squash, futsal, pitch and putt, judo, basketball, skiing and others. Another objective is the encouraging of people to take part in different competitions, such as the Universitary League of Futsal or Footbal-7, and the Universitary Championships.
We also offer introductory courses, having a 2 credits value, in golf, horse racing, scuba diving, tai-txi, bow shooting and sailing. All these courses have both a theoretical and a practical part. The classes are leaded by a sports teacher and have a length of 20 hours
Starting from this year each month EsportsURV offers introductory courses of capoeira and yoga.
Also the URV has signed different agreements with different clubs within Tarragona, offering you different advantages and discounts.
