Defence of doctoral thesis in the Department of Medicine and Surgery

Raúl Beltrán has written the doctoral thesis Characterization of the biological effects of polyphenols on inflammation and metabolism: new nutritional perspectives. He will defend the thesis on Tuesday, 4 October at 12.00 pm in the Conference Room of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences in Reus.

The thesis supervisor is Professor Carlos Alonso-Villaverde and its co-supervisor is Professor Jorge Joven. It is affiliated to the Department of Medicine and Surgery.

During the 2009-10 academic year, 127 doctoral theses were read at the URV.
