Final project - Study on environmental impact of the pylons in the El Pinar neighborhood
Coordinator: Francisco González (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Community organization: The El Pinar Residents' Association
Summary: This project can be traced back to the1st Social Projects Marketplace, held in the Faculty of Economics and Business in Reus in April 2014. It focuses on the environmental and health impact of high voltage towers in the El Pinar neighborhood. It also explores the effect of the electromagnetic fields generated by high-voltage power lines. Students must carry out the project and explain how it progresses. They must also report any difficulties that have to be overcome. This process encourages reflection during the Service Learning experience and helps students to consider situations from an objective, subjective and analytical perspective.
